I haven’t gone home for several weeks since the Moon Festival. I missed my family very much and wanted to talk to them. Even though I can call them whenever I miss them, it’s quite different between face to face and through cell phone. Besides, I would like to taste delicious food my mom cooked rather than food in the restaurant. However, I can’t go home immediately after midterm because the English literature postpone. I chose not to go home few weeks ago since I felt bored and had nothing to do when I was at home. I guessed the reason of missing was that I am not happy recently. I didn’t encounter serious obstacles, but just some trivial annoyed me.
I knew there’s no solution except I changed my attitude from pessimistic to optimistic.
My sister showed me some pictures which were my cousins visited us last holidays. One of cousin had a seven-year-boy. He was very cute and often said something which made us laugh loudly. For instance, he was forbidden to eat ice cream by his parents; however, my father told him there’s much ice cream in the refrigerator and he can eat deliberately. At first, he was afraid that he will be punished if his parents found the fact, but my father promised that everyone won’t tell his parents. Finally, he ate very much and told everyone that he like my father very much. When the little boy had to go home, he even pulled my brother’s hand and said he didn’t want to go home. He was very cute.
